L&Q is planning to establish new contracts for the delivery of fire safety remedial works including fire stopping, front entrance doors, ‘estates’ actions, loft remediation and main entrance doors, across our housing stock.
One of the key aims for this procurement is to form new contracts for the delivery of fire remedial works across our housing stock.
Therefore, we are looking to appoint three contractors to ensure all actions are completed within their ‘fix by dates’ following a fire risk assessment.
The priority is to ensure safer homes, and we believe having contractors who can lead on these areas in a region will offer a better and more effective service for our residents.
Below is the anticipated budget for Year 1: Lot 1 North London – North of the River – estimate value £1.2 million Lot 2 South London – South of the River – estimate value £1.2 million Lot 3 North West (Greater Manchester) – estimate value £500,000 Lot 4 Loft Remediation lot - estimate value £750,000 Year 2 & 3 budget TBC
