The brief

The purpose of this tender is to appoint a single medical insurance broker in Kigali, Rwanda to provide brokerage services for the British High Commission (BHC) medical insurance scheme for its country-based staff and their eligible dependants.

The appointed broker will be responsible for sourcing appropriate medical insurance solutions, advising on market options, supporting procurement of the insurance provider, and managing the medical insurance contract.

This includes claims support, provider network oversight, reporting, and ongoing member support.

The services must align with organisational requirements, applicable local regulations, and value-for-money principles.

The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further period of up to one (1) years, subject to satisfactory performance.
