eITT Provision of Fire Safety Upgrade Works at Whitecroft, Hythe, and Clarks Close, Ringwood New Forest District Council (NFDC) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake comprehensive fire safety upgrade works and associated refurbishment at two residential properties: Whitecroft, Hythe, Hampshire, and Clarks Close, Ringwood, Hampshire.
The works are aimed at improving fire protection measures, enhancing building compliance with future fire safety strategy requirements, and improving the overall quality of the internal communal areas.
Scope of Works: Whitecroft (Hythe, Hampshire) The contractor will be required to carry out the following works: Installation of new fire detection and suppression systems to meet future-state fire safety strategy requirements.
Fire compartmentation upgrades, ensuring appropriate fire separation throughout the building.
Asbestos abatement, limited to the specified areas identified in the asbestos survey.
Fire stopping works, sealing all identified breaches to maintain fire integrity.
Replacement of fire doors, including frames, hardware, and certification in accordance with current fire safety standards.
Electrical works, as required to support system installations and ensure compliance.
Decoration of internal common areas to enhance safety, visibility, and overall aesthetics.
Clarks Close (Ringwood, Hampshire) The contractor will be required to carry out the following works: Installation of new fire detection and suppression systems to meet future-state fire safety strategy requirements.
Fire compartmentation upgrades, ensuring appropriate fire separation throughout the building.
Asbestos abatement, limited to the specified areas identified in the asbestos survey.
Fire stopping works, sealing all identified breaches to maintain fire integrity.
