The brief

The contract is for the removal and replacement of an existing carriageway/footway expansion joint and 36 no existing bridge bearings at the A2041 Harrow Manorway Abbey Wood Flyover.

20 no bearings for Span 4/5 have been designed by the Client's consultant.

The Contractor is required to design the remaining 16 no bearings for Spans 1 to 4.

Extensive concrete repair works are required in conjunction with the installation of the new bearings.

Extensive temporary works will be required to allow the removal and replacement of the bearings.
