The purpose of this project is to refurbish the interiors of galleries 30 and 31 and enhancing the environmental control of both galleries through new roof glazing, new solar blinds, new air conditioning and associated ductwork and additional insulation to the external façade of Gallery 31.
The anticipated scope of works includes: • Structural alterations including extending the steel frame at roof level • A new external 'over-roof' to replace the existing including new glazing and new solar control blinds.
Includes new guarding's, new roller gantries, replacement roof finishes, new louvres and all associated flashings and membranes • New external wall insulation • New waterproofing and leak detection within the existing roof voids • Installation and commissioning of all MEP systems including integration with the existing BMS.
This to include new AC and associated MEP designed AHU so both G30 and 31 are both air conditioned to the gallery's conditions and specification. • Installation of all walls, floor and ceiling finishes including new gilding to ornate ceiling plasterwork • Repairs to existing retained internal finishes • New external steel gantry for plant relocation, access and maintenance
