Technology Enabled Care
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
Norfolk County Council (NCC) is seeking to award a contract for Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and Virtual Care.
NCC is integrating Technology Enabled Care (TEC) and Virtual Care into care planning, meeting the requirements of the Care Act 2014 to strengthen prevention, promote independence, and deliver person‑centred, strengths‑based support, shifting the focus from providing long-term care packages to providing solutions that improve outcomes for residents.
The new service will support residents, through the use of technology, to stay independent in the place they call home.
The requirement of the Provider will be to deliver a scalable service for the provision of TEC, Virtual Care, monitoring and community alarms, including an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
The service will include all aspects of the end-to-end process of sourcing, ordering, installation, and maintenance, through to removal and reuse/recycling of equipment.
