To support this programme, the Trust requires specialist Healthcare Planning expertise to develop the full clinical, operational, and spatial brief for the Integrated Front Door.
This includes: • Comprehensive clinical and operational engagement • Demand and capacity modelling to inform future service requirements • Development of the Schedule of Accommodation • Flow modelling and interface testing across pathways and departments • Phased operational continuity planning • Preparation of PPDD documentation • Support during handover into design development A critical element of this commission is ensuring that the Emergency Department remains fully operational throughout the phased redevelopment, requiring detailed planning to maintain service continuity and minimise disruption during construction.
