The appointment of a principal contractor to undertake remedial repairs and parts replacement following statutory annual inspections of all laboratory gas systems across the National Oceanography Centre (NOC), Southampton.
The contractor will provide a programmed approach to the works; supply, deliver, protect and coordinate all plant, equipment and materials; and act as principal contractor for all remedial activities.
The scope includes contractor‑designed services as defined in the contract documentation, responsibility for spatial coordination and integration with building fabric, on‑site coordination with all trades and suppliers, and the provision of working, installation, control and as‑installed record drawings.
The contractor will be responsible for the effects of alternative plant selections and will provide extended manufacturers' warranties covering the full defects liability period.
