The brief

Solihull Council Bereavement Services (the Council) seeks to appoint a Funeral Director to provide funeral services in accordance with the Council’s statutory duties under the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984.

The Contractor will also be required to provide support for exhumations, carried out in accordance with Section 25 of the Burial Act 1857.

All services must be delivered with dignity, respect, and in line with the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) Code of Conduct.
