Corner Plot - Clerk Of Works

The Council are looking to procure a MEP and a Building Clerk of Works for the Corner Plot project.
The project is for the delivery of 33 apartments at a key gateway site outside Rochdale Railway Station.
The aim here is to create a high quality coherent active and attractive mixed-use area as part of the station approach.
Any improvements that enhance the image, visual appearance and safety of the area will be encouraged.
All new developments will be expected to create a strong visual frontage to the square.
Any new developments should be well designed and be sensitive to the characteristics of the conservation area.
In line with the SPD, the scheme has been developed to contribute to a higher quality aspirational streetscape to further enrich active frontage on Station Road and Richard Street.
The scheme enhances activity at ground floor level.
This will be through good quality design, natural surveillance from 'eyes on the street,' as well as including well designed and inviting entrances, creating an open and diverse area and a gateway to the town and mixed commercial development to the future needs.
Rochdale Development Agency are acting on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council to deliver the Corner Plot project.
A Clerk of Works is required for this project, for both construction and MEP services.
