Please respond by 18.30 1st May 2026 Request for Information (RFI) National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) is developing a Digital Twin for Electrical Power systems to support transmission network design, analysis, planning, operations, and asset lifecycle management.
A critical enabler of this vision is a Network Master Model Manager: a controlled, authoritative environment used to create, govern, validate, and distribute trusted network model data (including associated metadata) across multiple engineering and operational tools.
Through the RFI, National Grid is seeking information on how your solution supports: Robust model governance and lifecycle management Standards based interoperability (e.g.
CIM / CGMES) Strong data quality controls and auditability Secure deployment and operation at national infrastructure scale Integration with existing planning, operations, and data platforms Documentation outlining a request for information (RFI) will be provided to interested suppliers.

This RFI does not constitute a formal competitive tendering process.
Should National Grid have a desire towards supplier selection and contract award, suppliers may be invited to the possible stages of pre-qualification and Request for Proposal.
