Walsall Council is commissioning the Healthy Child Programme Service from Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust following a Direct Award Process A under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
The Healthy Child Programme 0-19 is a universal service that supports children, young people, parents, and professionals working with them.
It offers a range of evidence-based interventions, including staying well in pregnancy, quitting smoking, nationally mandated developmental reviews, and the provision of information and guidance to support parenting and promote healthy lifestyle choices for children's optimal health and wellbeing.
The programme also includes services for teenage pregnancy prevention and support.
