The Council is letting a contract for Coordination of Dementia Friendly West Berkshire.
To coordinate and support the development and delivery of Dementia Friendly West Berkshire (DFWB) initiatives to support people living with dementia (diagnosed or undiagnosed) and their carers to live well in their community for as long as possible.
Dementia Friendly West Berkshire (DFWB) aims to raise awareness of dementia across West Berkshire, increase the range and diversity of services for people living with dementia and their carers, and to signpost to relevant organisations that can help.
DFWB actively supports the reduction of social isolation for both people living with dementia and their carers, along with promoting social and physical activity to improve overall health and wellbeing.
