Central Bedfordshire Council (the “Council”) is a unitary authority serving the Central Bedfordshire area, established in 2009.
The area covers approximately 716 km² (276 sq miles) and has a population of around 315,900 residents (2024).
It comprises a mix of market towns and rural communities, with major centres including Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Houghton Regis.
