The brief

Swindon Borough Council invites you to contribute to preliminary market engagement in relation to the above project and would welcome the views of suppliers on the questions set out in the questionnaire.

The intention is to invite supplier feedback to help shape the final specification and commercial model to ensure the tender delivers the optimum outcomes for the Council.

Enabled and within the terms of LEVI Funding, Swindon Borough Council is in the process of finalising an ITT for a concession designed to: (1) deliver a step-change in the deployment of local, primarily low power, on-street charging infrastructure across England; and (2) accelerate the commercialisation of, and investment in, the local charging infrastructure sector.

The initial contract term will be for 15 years with an option to extend for a further one year with funding available of £1.

The successful supplier will be provided with a concession contract reflecting the nature of the agreement and contract.
