Construction and Procurement Delivery (CPD) is facilitating this Pre-Market Engagement Exercise on behalf of DFE, who aim to establish the level of market interest to inform the procurement process.
The objectives of such exercises are to: - gain initial supplier awareness, engagement and opinion, resulting in a confidence around viability of concept; • prevent the department from advertising an unachievable project at UK e-notification service www.find-tender.service.gov.uk stage; - gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions; - understand possible risks and issues not previously considered; - inform the Outline Business Case and affordability; and - Inform the Procurement Strategy.
