The Semi Independent accommodation and support framework will more easily able Greenwich and Lewisham to place vulnerable 16+ Looked after children and care leavers in the right location, with the right level of support to enable them to thrive in the community.

It may also present a unique opportunity for providers to collaborate in the provision of care packages for this cohort.

For clarity on the region, while we aim to place in London and in borough wherever possible, some out of borough accommodation and distant accommodation will be necessary to safeguard our young people.
