Traded Services Platform
The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) is to seek input from potential suppliers within the market to establish who the current traded services portal providers in the market are and likely costs and options.
The PME will provide an opportunity for Wolverhampton City Council (CWC) to obtain an insight into how potential suppliers might approach the delivery of this service and gain an understanding into the likely level of interest from the market.
Wolverhampton City Council currently trades around 50 services to schools and other educational settings within and beyond the city.
This is currently done through an online trading portal.
Current customers tell us that the customer journey is complex and cumbersome, and this has caused issues for trying to direct all transactions through the portal, leading to an inability to hold accurate overall data relating to the trading of services.
We seek a user friendly, online solution with a provider that can commit to maintaining and modernising their platform, to avoid a dated platform with an overly complex customer journey.
We would like to streamline and simplify our invoicing process; therefore, any potential solution should work with Unit 4 Business World Agresso.
We require a supplier that is responsive, proactive and committed to continuous improvement in supporting us on our journey to transform and modernise the way well market and sell our traded services.
