Reactive and Planned Maintenance Term Contract, Borough Wide PSSC033 • Contact Name: Eva Harris Business Support Officer (ENQUIRIES ONLY • Contact Details: Through the ProContract Portal • Reference Number: PSSC033 / A461 Scope of Works - The purpose of this Tender is to give suitably qualified and experienced companies the opportunity to tender for a 3 year contract with Swale Borough Council to provide a reactive and planned maintenance service for a selection of council owned buildings.

At the discretion and gift of the Council, a further extension of up to 2 years may be awarded Swale Borough Council (SBC) is situated on the North Kent Coast between the Medway Towns and Canterbury and comprises the areas of Sittingbourne, Faversham and the Isle of Sheppey.

This contract will be managed by the Property Services Team within SBC, which is responsible for the asset management and maintenance of the corporate buildings that fall under SBC's remit.

The anticipated annual contract value will be approximately £100,000.

The Council anticipates that this contract will contribute between 5-15% of the successful tenderer's turnover, to ensure the contractor is able to meet the varying demands of the reactive maintenance service as expected by our customers and staff.

The successful contractor will be very experienced in the provision of reactive term maintenance, including attendance to emergency repairs within 4 hours.

It will be expected that the personnel that will be allocated to the contract will attend for interview Successful shortlisted Tenderers will be invited to interview by email on or before 9th July 2018.

All ITT and supporting documents must be returned via the ProContract Portal Closing date for the Tender document by 25th June 2018 @ 13:00 hrs.

The incumbent has advised that there will be no T.U.P.E. implications with this procurement.

However, if the situation changes - bidders may have the opportunity to revise their bid / schedule of rates to reflect any changes with regards to any additional T.U.P.E. information after the closing date and prior to award.
