The brief

NEC Project Management Services The Consultant reports to the National Highways Project Manager, while maintaining responsibility for the delivery of the required project commitments /outputs /outcomes in accordance with National Highways governance.

The Consultant will lead all key commercial project level meetings, with support from the project team, so that all Tier 1 suppliers have a consistent view of the project's progress.

The Consultant collaboratively drives day-to-day planning, progress, monitoring, and administration (CEMAR) of the project, managing project risks and the development and deployment, in agreement with National Highways, of return to budget, schedule, quality and contingency plans.

The Consultant will achieve the quality described in delivery partner, and other, contract requirements and quality management plan.

The Consultant will manage project specific procedures - risk management, change control, configuration management, and communication in line with the Conditions of Contract.

The Consultant will enable the delivery of all project targets including; - Safety - Customer - Efficiency - Predictability - Benefits realisation The Consultant shall make sure the Employers tools and systems are implemented, managed, and kept up to date as appropriate including, but not limited to; HART, Xactium, CEMAR, and P6 To support the National Highways direct staff team in their personal development and learning of the contract and its application, through on the job learning.

Exit Plan to be completed prior to the 29th of December 2023.
