Future activity, capability and financial planning feasibility assessment for Friends of Windmill Garden's proposed education building
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Financial & Insurance Services contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 8,013 valued Financial & Insurance Services tenders in our corpus.
Please see the attached tender documents – Lambeth Council has earmarked £360k of capital investment to provide a new educational facility in Windmill Gardens to support the growing educational activities linked to the Brixton Windmill.
It is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to develop a business plan to establish a sustainable future for the Friends of Windmill Gardens (FoWG), to enable them to continue to deliver and develop the education programme.
The business planning exercise will also need to ensure that the future sustainability of the existing one o’clock club, run from a building in the park, is supported.
This is run by the Holmewood Nursery School and Treehouse Children’s Centre (HNSTCC) who have a leasehold interest.
Four different options for the new education facility have been agreed with the steering group and the business planning exercise will need to explore each of these, working iteratively with the steering group and their design team to understand the pros and cons of each.
The business planning exercise will need to be co-produced with the council, the appointed architects and the project partners, including the FoWG, but also Holmewood Nursery School and Treehouse Children’s Centre (HNSTCC),
