Request for Information Pharmacy Enhanced Service for North of Tyne CCGs
Northumberland Clinical Commissioning Group, North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group, Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group and South Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (CCGs), working collaboratively wish to engage potential providers for the provision of a prime provider for pharmacy based enhanced services.
Services included within this model are detailed below.
Please note that all services are not commissioned in each CCG: - Think Pharmacy First/Minor Ailments - Specialist Drugs Provision - MAR Chart The purpose of the market engagement is to gauge the market capability and capacity for this service provision.
North of England Commissioning Support Unit (NECS) on behalf of the CCGs will be hosting a Market Engagement Event on Friday 03 July 2015, at European 3 Suite, Newcastle Gateshead Marriott, Metro Centre, Gateshead, starting at 9am until 12pm.
The aim of the event is to engage with the market in respect of feedback and assess the viability of the service model.
To register your interest in attending the Market Engagement Event please ensure that you register on the eTendering system In-Tend https://in-Tendhost.co.uk/necs and complete and return the intent to attend form no later than 12 noon on Monday 29th June, 2015.
Attendees will need to formally book a place at this event – which will be managed on a first come first service basis.
Organisations are limited to two delegates for the event.
The market engagement event will be by appointment only.
A Request for Information Document (RFI) for completion will be available to all who have expressed an interest in the service within the next 2 working days.
The documents can be accessed once the expression of interest has been made on the eTendering system In-Tend.
NECS is utilising an electronic tendering tool to manage this market engagement and communicate with organisations who have expressed an interest.
Accordingly, all communications and submissions will be conducted via the In-Tend portal, https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necs.
It is free to register on the portal, which can be accessed at any time of day.
