The brief

Devon County Council is looking to procure services for Youth Services.

The commissioners will require a provider that can demonstrate an ability to offer: • Open access (universal) youth services • Targeted youth work with and outreach to young people with additional needs • Advice, guidance and support to voluntary and community groups • Short-term alternative provision to young people outside of mainstream education There are 8 youth service hubs currently and our expectation is that the successful bidder would continue to use these facilities.

Devon County Council would like to invite prospective providers to a market warming event to provide an opportunity for interested providers to hear our intentions and to ask questions.

The conversation will inform the development of the final specification.

The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday 15th May 10am - 1pm at Newcourt Community Centre, Blakeslee Drive, The Rydons, Exeter, EX2 7FN and will: · Outline Devon County Council's priorities · Explain the local/national context around youth services · Explain the Council procurement process & timetable · Provide the opportunity to ask questions Please note places are limited to a maximum of 2 people per organisation.
