Contract for Industrial Heritage Rescue (Killhope Lead Mining Museum)\r \r THE DOCUMENTS MUST BE DOWNLOADED FROM WWW.NEPO.ORG AND INSERT DN 725340 WITHIN THE SUPPLIER AREA.\r \r There are 5 main areas/buildings which make up the package of urgent works, all of which fall within the boundary of the scheduled monument;\r The Tourist Mine (Concrete box and scenery);\r The Washing Floor/Washing Rake;\r The Mine Shop (Grade II listed).;\r The Jigger House (Grade II* listed);\r The Buddle House.\r This Project is to be funded by the Arts Council England Museum Estates Development Fund (MEND), with match funding from Durham County Council.

The Council are reviewing additional sources of funding to support the delivery of the scope and achievement of the strategic objectives for this project.

Should the Council be unsuccessful in obtaining all / some funding the Project may be modified accordingly, (unless an alternative funding source is identified).

Progression of this procurement exercise and any award of this contract opportunity will be conditional on confirmation of sufficient funds being available and/or modification of the Project requirements.\r \r \r \r
