The brief

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of the commissioner, NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG is seeking to engage with potential Providers for the Provision of a Community Physiotherapy Service.

A Market Engagement event is to be held on Friday 9th December 2016.

The CCG are looking to commission a comprehensive community based Physiotherapy service for Redditch and Bromsgrove.

The service will aim to provide a high quality physiotherapy service for patients who are registered with a Redditch & Bromsgrove CCG GP Practice.

The service will be based on best practice and will provide appropriate assessment, diagnostics, follow up treatment, review and discharge.

This service is designed to be available to Redditch & Bromsgrove patients who are aged 16 and over The service provider(s) will be required to work collaboratively with existing providers as part of an integrated, evidence based approach to patient care.

The aim of the Market event will be to engage with potential providers for these services in order to share the commissioning intentions of the CCG, and to seek the input from providers on a number important aspects relating to the services, including the service specification.

At the event there will be an opportunity for providers to network with other providers and commissioners.

The CCG would like assess current market appetite to provide this service and identify any barriers to successful implementation.

The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps.

The event will be held on: Friday 9th December 2016 At: 10 am - Registration 9.45.

Location: Redditch and Bromsgrove CCG offices, Board Room, Barnsley Court, Barnsley Hall Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B61 0TX The CCG would welcome the attendance of any current providers of Physiotherapy Services, any providers who may be interested in providing these services in the future and/or other stakeholders.

Closing date for registration is 7th December 2016 12 noon.

Please note that after this deadline participation cannot be guaranteed.

It should be noted that this is not a procurement exercise at this stage, and participating organisations are responsible for their own costs.

This future procurement is for clinical services which are Light Touch Regime services for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 as specified in Schedule 3 of the Regulations ("Regulations").

Accordingly, the contracting authorities are only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Chapter 3 Particular Procurement Regimes Section 7.

The contracting authorities are not voluntarily following any other part of the Regulations.

The CCG is a relevant body for the purpose of the NHS.
