Scope of Requirement The AMRC North West has a requirement to engage with local industries in the region and provide solutions to manufacturing challenges.

As part of that remit, there is a need to purchase a CMM to support the manufacturing projects.

The AMRC North West is also undertaking research within various manufacturing topics in the aerospace sector, specifically in the area of dimensional metrology of additively manufactured parts.

Within the facility there will be various manufacturing technologies and the CMM will be focused on undertaking measurement in support of this research.

This specification is aimed at purchasing a single CMM for use at the AMRC North West.

It is expected that suppliers will provide long term support for the equipment including application engineering, CMM programming and software upgrades.
