The brief

The London Borough of Camden ('the Council') has awarded two contracts for the provision of: • Mental Health High Supported Living - Central • Mental Health High Supported Living - Maygrove The mental health supported accommodation pathway supports adults with severe mental illness (SMI) who are unable to live independently.

The pathway accommodates residents who have lost their tenancies or are unable to live in their own home without support due to the lack of daily living skills.

The supported living pathway often bridges the gap between a long stay in hospital and independent living.

The mental health supported accommodation pathway fosters Camden's ambitions to make Camden a place "...where everyone can lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives", and where "no one should experience discrimination or be made to feel ashamed or isolated because of a mental health problem".

The service will provide supported living services to residents with high support needs.

The two contracts have been awarded for the following terms and contract values: Mental Health High Supported Living Service - Central for the initial term of three (3) years at a cost of £2,030,004 and £3,383,340 if the two extensions of one (1) year are taken.

It is envisaged that the contract will commence on 1st October 2020.

Mental Health High Supported Living Service - Maygrove Road for the initial term of three (3) years at a cost of £1,050,000 and £1,750,000 if the two extensions of one (1) year are taken.

It is envisaged that the contract will commence on 1st October 2020
