The brief

The Imaging department uses a state-of-the-art software package called Imaris for analysis of confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) data.

It enables them to analyse data not just in 2D images, but 3D and 4D.

Imaris also allows them to render images and create movies to visualise experiments, opening our work up not just to the scientific community but also to wider audiences enabling public engagement.
