The brief

To purchase services / license of Sprytar Love Exploring App for all areas in the ER.

This is a top up deal / contract extension, providing unlimited use to create new mapped areas, trails and interactive games for ER towns, the coast and attractions.

This contract / purchase is an extension / top up deal offered to ERYC when purchasing the Love Exploring App licenses and services for the Bridlington and Withernsea pilot areas.

The original contract and purchase for these areas was for £9,998 with the option to purchase the full license / access for the whole East Riding as a top up deal for £25,002.

The app service / licences will allow us to continue to develop the Love Exploring App for all ER areas with trails, routes and interactive games, facts and history themes.

As part of various ongoing community development work, including Active Towns, Active Coast, CoastSnap and many others this would allow us to implement various 'explore' options where people from all ages can engage with a range of self-led active recreation and health and wellbeing opportunities.

In addition it would contribute to opportunities for visitors to our towns and coastal locations.

As the Love Exploring Sprytar system is already in operation it would allow a smooth transition to developing these active opportunities for our communities, particularly for the Active Towns project.

When negotiating this contract, it was clear that the top up deal proposed above was the best option, as to purchase a license for our initial Active Towns including Pocklington, Market Weighton, Goole and Howden it would be £40,000 (£10,000 per town).

This top up deal would provide the best value for money and most efficient way of developing this kind of offer / system further.

The contract is ongoing and holds a yearly £495 maintenance fee, therefore please disregard the contract end date, as this is mandatory for the form.
