The brief

Qualitative research to better understand the challenges and opportunities available to tax agents in supporting their clients to transition to Making Tax Digital for businesses (MTDfB) and how other aspects of HMRC's digital transformation, namely the Single Financial Account (SFA) might affect the future role of agents.

The project will comprise of face to face in depth interviews with 40 tax agents and four focus groups.
