NHS SOUTH, CENTRAL AND WEST COMMISSIONING SUPPORT UNIT
NHSE Market Engagement Event for Virtual Wards and Virtual Care Dashboard and Wearables
The NHS England South East Virtual Wards and Virtual Care Team are holding a market engagement event on 24th April 2024 either at a central London venue or virtually via MS Teams.
This event will be presented by clinicians and senior leaders involved in Virtual Wards and Virtual Care across South East Region ICBs.
This event is an opportunity for suppliers to understand customer needs and have questions clarified by clinicians.
Interested suppliers should take note of a generic draft specification for remote wearables and dashboards, developed to support ICBs which can be found on Atamis(see details below).
We are keen to understand the maturity of the market against this draft specification for the development of a Virtual Care strategy.
Interested suppliers should note that this exercise is a market engagement exercise only.
Any future competitions or opportunities will not be directly linked to this notice.
Interested suppliers should be clear that feedback provided at this event is a fundamental step in developing the Virtual Care strategy to support growth of Virtual Ward and Virtual Care services.
Participation in the engagement exercise is not a mandatory requirement for participating in any potential future procurement.
To register interest to attend the market engagement event, please complete the survey using the link below or the link that can be found on Atamis: https://forms.office.com/e/wFNd8m3sNj This exercise and any subsequent responses are in no way legally binding on any party.
This notice, and the subsequent event, is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition in its own right and therefore publication or response does not commit NHSE South East regions or respondents to a future procurement, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest.
Commissioners are looking to establish what capability there might be in providing such a service from suitably qualified, capable and competent organisations.
NHSE South East will not be liable for costs incurred by any interested party in participating in this exercise.
Interested parties should note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an automatic invitation to any subsequent formal procurement, which the commissioners will consider in due course.
