This specification sets of the requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out an impact and process evaluation of a new Enhanced Case Management (ECM) pilot in the South-West of England.
This evaluation is commissioned by the Youth Justice Board.
One of the objectives of the Youth Justice Board's (YJB) 2019 corporate strategy is to promote the development of trauma-informed practice and ECM.
This evaluation will feed into the YJB's strategic thinking regarding trauma-informed practice and will assist the YJB to build on knowledge and understanding of ECM to date, to identify if trauma-informed practice delivered through ECM improves outcomes for children in the youth justice system and whether ECM can confidently be promoted as an approach.
