The Council is seeking to engage specialist support to assist it in developing a Worcester City Strategic Play Area Development Plan.

It is envisaged that this would take 2 parts, the first being the carrying out of a detailed consultation exercise around future outdoor play space provision across the city and secondly from that consultation, the development of a Strategic Play Area Development Plan.

The Council will expect the consultant to take a holistic view and consider current delivery and good practice in this area.

In addition it is expected that the consultant will undertake a detailed and meaningful consultation with different groups of individuals (including children and young people), community groups and with the Council's Elected Members, which will provide the Council with a rich dataset that could inform the next generation of investment into outdoor play provision in the city.

The Council has set a maximum budget of £40,000 for the Project.

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website.

Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password, allowing them to gain access to the procurement documents.

Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
