The brief

The required provision is to support and encourage participants with moderate to severe mental health problems in to sustainable employment.

It will enhance claimants’ motivation and skills required for the job market and provide them with the skills and knowledge to manage their health condition(s).

The Provider will be required to deliver an individually tailored route way programme that provides intensive support, delivers skills training and builds motivation for individual participants with mental health conditions, to move into to the labour market.

The Programme will offer this support to 100 participants.

The delivery model will comprise of a tailored support programme lasting for 13 weeks.

It will include personal consultations, 1-2-1 support and group sessions to stimulate rapport and develop relationships which offer mutual support to help claimants progress and remove their barriers to employment.

The Provider will determine the programme attendance however this will be for a maximum of 16 hours per week.

The Provider will work with claimants so that they can understand their individual capabilities around their health condition, while building their confidence and motivation to move into sustainable employment.
