Salisbury City Council is committed to the high quality and proactive management of its tree stock and has identified the need to appoint an Arboricultural Contractor in order to manage this stock effectively.

The contractor is to provide the full range of Arboriculture services.

All works will be undertaken in a relatively small geographical area covering Salisbury City Council boundaries only.

The works will include all aspects of tree surgery and specifically will include: • Tree removal – clear fell • Tree removal – dismantle • Tree removal – fallen tree • Crown lifting • Crown thinning • Crown reduction • Crown Cleaning – removal of broken branches etc. • Clearance to utility cables • Stump removal • Pollarding • General Pruning • Tree inspections • Epicormic growth removal The initial contract period is for three years.

There is the potential to extend the contract by a further year, this will be at the discretion of the council.

The Council is undertaking an open Procurement Process that requires interested contractors to contact the council with an expression of interest.
