The brief

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice, and relates only to a pre-procurement engagement event.

This notice replaces a previous notice that was published on 10th April.

NHS Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), NHS South Gloucestershire CCG, NHS North Somerset CCG, Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council and NHS England are commissioners of health and social care services, jointly responsible for commissioning the majority of health and social care services in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Services are purchased from a range of sources including primary care, acute trusts, charities, social enterprises and private providers.

The current service is due to cease on March 31st 2016.

Due to this, the commissioners will shortly be seeking a provider to assume responsibility for the service for an interim period, whilst at the same time continuing to design new services for a longer term.

The purpose of the event will be to: • Raise awareness amongst the provider market of the commissioners’ re-commissioning intentions (both interim and substantive) • Give organisations the opportunity to start building the resources and relationships required to bid successfully for the services • Engage with the provider market and receive feedback on the commissioners’ plans (both interim and substantive) The event is being held at a formative stage of the re-commissioning programme, so providers are encouraged to bring a wide range of attendees, including both corporate and clinical skill-sets.

The event will be held in central Bristol (venue and further details provided on RSVP) from 9am – 1pm on Thursday, 25th June 2015.

To receive full details, please respond by e-mail to Phil Fear, stating your organisation along with the names and contact details of those attending.
