Repair and Refurbishment of Bulk Containers
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Environment & Waste contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 11,894 valued Environment & Waste tenders in our corpus.
The Council has a statutory duty to collect and arrange for the receipt and disposal of household waste and other waste arising within Bath and North East Somerset.
As part of this duty, the Council has approximately fifty Bulk Containers in use for the storage and haulage of waste and recycling materials between its sites and end disposal points.
The Bulk Containers are in various states of repair, the Council is therefore seeking to award a Contract for the full Repair & Refurbishment of its Bulk Containers to CHEM standards.
Tenderers are invited to visit the Council site, by prior arrangement as set out in paragraph 5 of Volume 1 - Invitation to Tenderer, to view the Bulk Containers before submitting a bid.
The Contract will commence on Monday 26th October 2015 and continuing for an Initial Term of 2 years with an option for the Council to extend the Contract for up to a further 1 year.
This Specification details the Services to be provided by the Contractor.
