The Met Office have a number of 'Frontline Sites' across and throughout the United Kingdom, housing an Automated Weather Station (AWS) or Radar Station.
Accordingly, the Met Office are looking to appoint supplier(s) who can undertake and deliver a grounds maintenance service across and throughout our portfolio of Frontline Sites.
The Met Office would be keen to see what market solutions are available for optimum service delivery in this respect.
These grounds maintenance services are not required for aesthetic and or appearances; they are essential as the non-maintained grass and associated vegetation can have a significant and detrimental effect on the equipment and the resultant data.
This tender is split into 4 Lots: Lot 1 - England Lot 2 - Scotland Lot 3 - Wales Lot 4 - Northern Ireland The Met Office reserves the right to award anywhere from 1 contract up to 4.
