The works comprise the replacement and upgrade of the existing gas burner systems serving three boilers within the IMO Building.
The Contractor shall undertake the works sequentially, maintaining heating resilience by ensuring a minimum of two boilers remain operational at all times.
The items of works are summarised as follows: • Removal and disposal of existing Ecoflam burners and associated redundant equipment. • Supply and installation of new low-NOx gas burners, burner plates and associated components to all three boilers. • Replacement of boiler door refractory and installation of new boiler water temperature sensors. • Modifications to existing gas pipework, gas trains, electrical supplies and control wiring to accommodate the new burner installations. • Integration of existing boiler flow switches into the burner enable circuits. • Gas tightness testing, combustion analysis, safety device testing and manufacturer-approved commissioning of all installations. • Provision of all required testing, commissioning and compliance documentation. • Removal of redundant materials and completion of all associated builders' works.
