The brief

NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) ("the Authority") has awarded 46 contracts to deliver Domiciliary Care Services for Adults and Children and Young People (CYP) under an NHS Standard Contract (Shorter Form) (in 2 Lots).

The term ‘Domiciliary Care’ is being used to describe care and support services delivered to an individual in their own home including 24-hr support services.

It also includes delegated healthcare tasks that require oversight of a qualified nurse and end of life care.<br/><br/>36 providers have been accredited onto the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) list for Lot 1 – Domiciliary Care and Support for Adults, and 10 providers have been accredited to Lot 2 – Domiciliary Care and Support for Children and Young People.<br/><br/>Lot 1 supports domiciliary care services for Adults aged 18 and over with continuing healthcare needs and who have been assessed as eligible to receive continuing healthcare. <br/><br/>Lot 2 supports domiciliary care services for CYP aged 0-18.

Care and support needs will be identified and commissioned as a Care Package, and the Provider will be expected to meet each child or young person’s care needs.
