The brief

The Council is seeking to relocate the Bromley Central Library from its current location attached to the Churchill Theatre building to a Council-owned vacant retail unit (formerly Topshop) located on the High Street in Bromley town centre.

The former Topshop site will be for the core public facing services; and a series of storage units located in the council-owned Central Depot site will be used for the Archive, Museum and Art Store and Bookstack storage requirements.
