The brief

The Council wishes to invite tenders for the supply of services in respect of collaborating with an experienced producer of pantomimes to co-produce their annual pantomime at Guildhall Arts Centre.

The Guildhall Arts Centre has a track record in delivering a quality pantomime which is well loved by local people.

SKDC is seeking a collaborator to present pantomimes that are authentic to Grantham, exciting, engaging and ensure a positive experience that local people can feel proud of.

The pantomime will form a key part of the creative ambitions for Cultural Services and will form part of the Authority’s wider strategy to improve pride of place, raise aspirations, prioritise the wellbeing of residents and contribute to inclusive growth for the district.

The anticipated contract commencement date is 3rd December 2024.

The Council proposes to enter one contract for an initial period of 12 months with the preferred supplier, with an option to extend for a further period of 12 months, followed by an additional 12 months, followed by an additional 12 months, making 48 months in total.

Any proposed extension is subject to satisfactory performance by the supplier and in accordance with the Council’s business requirements.

Any proposed extension to the contract will be agreed in writing between the Council and the supplier.

The expected Revenue for this contract is £82,000.00 per annum (exclusive of VAT).
