The brief

This notice is for the award of the contract for The Maintenance and Support of K2 Asset Management Software to Tribal Group PLC.

The Council's Property Services department has a requirement to renew the service for twelve months which allows the Council to see a list of their assets, run a report on buildings that are due health and safety checks and to monitor space utilisation.

The service has been utilised for a number of years by Property Services and the service area are familiar with the process and ease of use of the solution.

The contract has been awarded and will be in place for twelve months with Tribal Group with the option to extend for a further twelve months.

This renewal is an interim measure for a temporary solution whilst Caerphilly Council look to research and test the market for opportunity.

A new procurement exercise will be undertaken prior to the expiry date for this requirement.
