The Council requires a Service Provider who is able to deliver a robust implementation which ensures continuity of service during the ending of the current service provider and the new one during the implementation phase.
The Council is seeking a Service Provider who is able to grow the current cashless provision and is able to significantly increase the number of cashless transactions, which currently accounts for circa 35% of total receipts, with an expectation of a minimum 5% increase each financial year.
The Council expects the service Provider to deliver an excellent customer experience and enhance the way in which customers engage with the Council when using cashless payment methods.
The Council's is keen to see an increase the uptake of motorists using the Cashless/mobile telephone payment system in order to reduce cash collection costs and provides additional payment options to our customers.
In turn leading away from the current predict and pay approach and ensuring customers have longer dwell time in the city rather than rushing back to feed the meter.
