A number of these offer members of the public a chance to relax and enjoy a food or a drink during their visit.
English Heritage currently operates 24 in-house catering sites and it is for these premises which we would like to invite suppliers to submit a tender against the requirements below.
The contract will run for an initial 2 year period, with a further year extension, subject to satisfactory performance and market requirement.
Overview of requirements and essential criteria. • This contract is for the supply of ambient, frozen and chilled goods, across England. • Supplier must be able to source and supply regional, seasonal and bespoke products • Supplier must be able to source and supply, good quality, sustainable produce • Supplier must meet all food Safety, HACCP, allergen regulations. • Delivery of up to 7 days a week delivery at key sites (see attached site list, section,1.3, item13). • Production and delivery of sandwiches to key sites (See attached site list , section 1.3, item 13) • Supplier must be BRC Registered or equivalent • Ability to develop menus in conjunction with English Heritage • Produce must be of high quality and sustainable • Supplier must be able to deliver English Heritage’s food Ethos. • No minimum delivery size. • Prices to be held for 1st year of contract.
