The brief

WBC requires a single supplier to support the delivery, supply, installation, operation and maintenance of 38 charge points in 19 locations, mostly for On-Street Residential parking, to be available for the use of consumers 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

In addition, WBC also requires the contractor to supply and install parking bay sensors at the EV bays identified.

The contract will be required the provider to cover the cost of all ongoing maintenance, repairs, warranty and management of chargepoints for the entire length of this Contract.

The Council will maintain ownership of all the below ground assets and will be responsible for the delivery of the ground works providing all dedicated electrical connections and feeder pillars to allow for the power supply connection of chargepoints.

The Supplier shall arrange for the billable electricity meter and account and pay the electricity bills.
